The ETH Robotics Student Fellowship (ERSF) offers graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to work alongside leading researchers in the field of robotics. The program runs for 8 weeks during the summer (June to August), providing a unique platform to gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories.

Scholarship Benefits (Fully Funded)

Selected fellows will receive comprehensive financial support to ensure a worry-free stay in Switzerland:

       

  • Stipend: A total of CHF 4,000 to cover housing and living expenses.

    •    

  • Travel: Reimbursement of travel costs to and from Switzerland.

    •    

  • Visa: Coverage of visa application expenses.

    •    

  • Accommodation: Organized by the program (paid using the stipend).

    •    

  • Social Events: Networking opportunities and campus events.


Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:

       

  • Student Status: Must be enrolled in a Master’s program OR be an exceptional final-year undergraduate student.

    •    

  • Field of Study: Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

    •    

  • Graduation Date: Your expected graduation must be January 2027 or later.

    •    

  • Availability: Must be available for the entire duration (30 June to 29 August 2026).

    •    

  • Language: Proficient in English (oral and written).
