Applications are now open for the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2026. This is one of the most prestigious fully funded master's scholarships available for citizens of developing countries.
​Funded by the Government of Japan and the World Bank, this program empowers mid-career professionals to study a development-related Master's degree at participating universities in Japan, the USA, Europe, Africa, and Oceania.

Scholarship Benefits (Fully Funded)
This scholarship covers all expenses for the entire duration of the program (2 years):
- Full Tuition Fees: 100% of university tuition is paid.
- Monthly Stipend: A generous monthly allowance for living expenses (food, accommodation, books).
- Travel: Round-trip economy class air travel to and from the university.
- Medical Insurance: Full health coverage.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must meet these strict requirements:
- Nationality: You must be a national of a World Bank Member Developing Country (see full list below).
- Education: You must hold a Bachelor’s degree (obtained at least 3 years before applying).
- Experience: You must have 3+ years of paid development-related work experience after your degree.
- No Dual Citizenship: You cannot hold dual citizenship of a developed country.
- Health: You must be in good health.

How to Apply
The application is online and requires careful preparation:
- Choose a participating Master’s program (from the official JJ/WBGSP list).
- Secure an Unconditional Letter of Admission from that university (required for the application).
- Complete the online application form.
- Upload Two Professional Reference Letters.
- Submit your CV, Bachelor's Diploma, and proof of work experience.
